| Bio: | I was a precocious child, and an awkward adolescent. I'm not really sure what I am now.
I make a ton of mistakes, both big and small.
I both think and talk too much.
I spend a lot of time hating where I come from.
Music makes my heart swell with happiness.
People come into my life and sometimes they leave abruptly. While they're here, I try to treat them as well as I possibly can. I usually forgive, but I never forget.
I often feel really young, and I get frustrated with the scale of the world and my place within it.
There are a lot of books that have changed my life. I am thankful on a daily basis that I was exposed to good literature at an early age. I feel that the books I've read have made me a better person.
I want the degree I get in 3 years to take me places.
Above all, I want to know that I did not waste my life.
I would like to see:
A world where we can guarantee equality of opportunity.
Where human beings are human beings, not worth more or less depending on their race or how much money they have.
Where woman are more then their uterus. Where they are free to create, dominate, advocate and make money AND have babies and get married.
Where people acknowledge the immense importance of maintaining a healthy biosphere, and place sustainability higher than conspicuous consumption.
Where neoclassical economics no longer takes precedence over human decency or spiritual fulfillment. Where we're no longer chasing a productivity curve that has run away from us, while our communities languish.
If I don't see this world, I want my children to see this world.
